Toronto police say a 26-year-old man is facing attempted murder charges after a 13-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed last month.
The incident took place in the Bruyeres Mews and Bathurst Street area on May 3.
Police allege the boy was stabbed outside a coffee shop and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect surrendered to police on Monday.
Jemar Holmes of Toronto is facing one count each of attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, selling cannabis to a young persona and distributing cannabis to a young person.
He appeared in court the same day.
